BIDA Family Dances are family-oriented dance afternoons in conjunction with our regularly schedules dances. Bring your kids! Tell your neighbors and schools! Come without kids of your own, ready to be friendly :) Did you know that BIDA stands for Boston Intergenerational Dance Advocates? Well, kids are the upcoming generation, and a vital part of our community.

Please feel free to join us at 7:00 for a beginner's lesson if you're fresh to contra dancing. Bring someone new to contra dancing to the workshop and we'll give you both passes to get in free at a future dance!

Admission is our standard sliding scale of $5-15 for adults (and counts for the regular dance following, should you choose to stay) and $3 each for children.

Public Transportation (recommended): We are across the street from the Porter Square Red Line stop. Parking: Free street parking (meters and residential are open to all on Sundays). Don't park in the Shaw's parking lot because they tow.
